The Image API is used to read geo-referenced image data, which is processed into accurate terrain overlays, using different processing chains for demonstration purposes:

  • Rectangular raster datasets

  • Cubemap raster datasets

  • Pixel pyramids

  • Pre-processing

  • On-the-fly processing

How to use

The tutorial generates a couple of terrain layers, each showing a different approach for rendering geo-referenced image data.

This tutorial uses an aggregated Terrain View widget.

Use the standard GUI controls to manipulate the scene.
