This tutorial shows how to put 3D objects, decals and vector shapes onto a terrain.

The tutorial uses the TerrainMesh API to populate the terrain with 3D objects, ground decals and vector shapes.

  • Place 3D objects on the terrain

  • Place geo-referenced decal textures onto the terrain

  • Use vector shapes as terrain texture overlays

  • Use vector shapes to correct terrain data on-the-fly

How to use


This tutorial uses an aggregated Terrain View widget.

Use the standard GUI controls to manipulate the scene.
